November is a big month for nonprofits — it's their last moment to prepare before the year-end fundraising push. So I recommend that NetSquared organizers schedule their next event before #GivingTuesday (on December 3 this year) which allows them to take advantage of the buzz, making event promotion easier!
Wednesday, October 30th Blockchain for Good 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm PT
Join us on October 30th at Slalom for a panel on Blockchain for Good.

There will also be time for questions.

Thom Ivy, Commonwealth Labs, Chief of Staff at Commonwealth Labs
Xochitl Cazador, Strategy + Operations executive passionate about Social Impact and Blockchain, Celo
Our Host: Slalom is a modern consulting firm focused on strategy, technology, and business transformation. Slalom.org strengthens the communities in which we live and work through positive impact in meaningful ways.
Every month TechSoup's NetSquared community organizers volunteer to bring free and low-cost nonprofit technology events and workshops to over 50 cities. If you want to network with your peers or love to learn at live, in-person events NetSquared is the place for you!
Our chapter leaders believe that we can bridge the digital divide by giving every NGO the tools and skills to accomplish their missions efficiently and effectively. That's why this fall we've planned events specifically for nonprofit staffers who use technology. But we also believe that there's value in getting our tribe together for a good old fashioned party. Pittsburgh has scheduled a holiday party complete with gift exchange and arcade games. Our friends in Los Angeles are holding a "get together" (it can't be a winter party when they don't suffer a proper winter!) Not to be out-done the North Carolina crew is taking over over a brewery for their holiday social. So don't be a grinch - join your local nonprofit techies and get sociable this holiday season!
