There are five NetSquared events this week. From Amy Sample Ward in Vermont to National Public Radio in Washington, DC, NetSquared organizers are connecting their communities with the best minds working to “remix the web for social change.”
NetSquared Seattle's contribution to TechSoup Global' s annual Digital Storytelling Challenge (TSDigs) was a hands-on workshop to help participants tell better stories and advance their organizations’ goals. They talked about best practices, must-reads and emerging technologies to get the job done.
Melbourne's NetSquared group come together on March 21 to examine the concept of "B Corporations," using Etsy as a case study. Didn't make it to Australia for the meeting? Don't worry, Lucas Kussowski captured it on film!
TechSoup is holding our annual Digital Storytelling Challenge (TSDigs) this April and I think it would be really cool if our global network came together to hold events that teach local nonprofits how to use digital tools to tell their stories and advance their mission. Wanna join in? Email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss how you can become a NetSquared local organizer and become a host.
Is your organization thinking about creating a mobile application? Tech & Social Change Baltimore's December meetup shared two case studies on the development of mobile applications for nonprofits. A huge thanks to organizer Kate Bladow for blogging about the event.
Note: this has been cross-posted from Kate's original post on the meetup group.
