Wisconsin Democracy Campaign is a nonprofit, nonpartisan political watchdog group dedicated to clean government. We advocate for a real democracy that allows the common good to prevail over narrow interests by reinforcing and protecting the values of honesty, fairness, transparency, accountability, citizen participation, competition, and respect for constitutional rights and the rule of law. We pursue these objectives through research, citizen education, community outreach, coalition building and direct advocacy.
Summary: We want to build an online portal that will bring people together through collective imagination about what they wish, in their highest dreams, to be a picture of future cities, future governmental systems, technology, educational systems, economic systems, future visual spaces, architecture, environmental solutions, anything possible.
Our aim is to promote patient empowerment through social support using social media, from a volunteerism approach, the same we are doing on local communities worldwide (www.youtube.com/user/pacienteexperto) and with the help of a group of experts on the field working as a social responsibility task (www.globalalliancesms.org)
We need support from cybervolunteers, to ask people to be trained and lead webinars and chat groups for people with chronic diseases, always as a non lucrative initiative. We count with recognition at the international level. Our goal is to promote patients and citizen engagement to fight against chronic diseases, that are the cause of 86% of deaths and 90% of disabilities, and it produces 70% of sanitary costs.
