======= Meetup Agenda ======= 7:00PM - Doors Open & Networking 7:15PM - Welcome & Introduction to Data for Good This section will provide an overview of what Data for Good is about, and how you can contribute to a better community. We'll also highlight various upcoming events in the industry. If you're a returning member and have heard this part before, please feel free to join us at 7:30PM. ======= Habitat for Humanity Project ======= 7:30PM - Working Session Following our initial brainstorming session in the March Meetup, we will look to conduct our first working session, using the data that will have been curated by selected volunteers. The goal of this session will be to complete the first pass of our analysis, and see what adjustments will need to be made. As much as possible, please try to be familiar with the data sets that are suggested on Basecamp. Some examples that were used during the March Meetup were: - Canadian Census Data- National Household Survey- City Ward Data- CMHC Data- Ottawa Neighborhood Study Please Note: Free WiFi is not available on campus, so we will do our best to have some of these data sets available on a flash drive for those of you who would like to bring their laptops. ======= Meetup End 9:00PM =======
