We here at NetSquared are proud to announce the beta launch of Hacker Helper. Hacker Helper is a website that helps prepare developers for hackathons by providing issue-specific problem statements written by NGOs and activists who are working on the ground to solve social problems. It also provides developers with links to relevant data sets, APIs, and other people who are working on projects to solve the social problem.

How it works:

Busia county is going to focus on education support program

Laikipia county they will focus on peace campaign  and development

Kisumu county they will focus  on development

Kakamega county will focus on agriculture and food security

Narok county will focus on Mau conservation(environmental conservation)

East Africa has made huge progress towards achieving Universal Primary Education UPE,but sadly around 10 million primary school pupils drop out each year ,and many children who do manage to complete school have very poor reading skills in English and in their mother tongue.this proves a huge hurdle for those children who go on to attend secondary school where all lessons are taught in English.most schools have no library ,and the books that do exist in classrooms are often out of date and are shared between 10 or more children .For most families,books are luxury they simply cannot afford ,
