Our next SeaTech4Good Meetup will be on Thursday, June 30th, at General Assembly in Seattle. We have assembled a panel of experts to discuss the tech tools that local nonprofits use to schedule and coordinate volunteers. They include: Molly Jordan of Bloodworks Northwest, Jenn Romo of Real Change, and Becky Birch of the Eastside Assistance League.
We’ll start with a short presentation on the landscape of solutions and then the panel will discuss the pros and cons of various systems and approaches followed by a Q and A session. The fun starts at 6 p.m. It’s free but please RSVP at Volunteer Management Tools.
Here are some additional local 4Good events we've come across:
At this coworking event, all 24 women in ADA Academy's current cohort will be in attendance to share their final projects. Have lunch on us as we give some professional insight to future tech industry professionals.
On June 14, Fledge presents seven impactful, global startups. Founders will present companies recycling oil, crowdfunding for farmers, a breakthrough in green wallboard, plus working with chickens, fish, livestock, and green red bricks.
Unlikely Allies is a two day festival that takes place in a new city each year bringing together global and local thought leaders, changemakers, inspired citizens and their unlikely allies: the hackers, artists, policy makers, activists, corporate innovators and designers needed to make real change happen on key issues of our world today.
