#Net2Welly - 2018 News and Events

Kia ora koutou,

I hope 2018 has started off well for you both at work and home, and you're keen to network and have fun with other changemakers using technology.  Apologies for a slow start for Net2Welly, but here's an update.

Stephen Blyth, whom started this group in May 2012 and has been organiser ever since, is stepping down mainly due to pressure of work. He will stay involved as a member and running occasional sessions (I'll keep you to that Stephen! :) ). I'm sure you'll agree with me that he's done an inspirational job in getting Net2Welly going and keeping it running with interesting and challenging discussions.  Many thanks Stephen.

I (Bill Dashfield) will continue as organiser, but could really do with some help. NetSquareds run better with 2, or 3 or 4 organisers.  If you'd like to help in any way, however small, please contact me at bill.dashfield@xtra.co.nz (aka as xtr157325@xtra.co.nz).

Meetups will continue to be lunchtimes, 2nd Tuesday of the month but will move to a more central location, probably the Community Hub. I've a list of several exciting speakers & interesting topics, but as I'm away for the next few weeks there will be no March meetup (Sorry - another reason a small team works best...)

Meanwhile, if you've got a topic or idea you'd like to hear about/discuss or talk on, please let me know!
