Tomorrow would be our usual date for the PDXTech4Good meetup, but things didn't quite come together in time and so we've postponed that event for a later time. That means no PDXTech4Good event this Wednesday. However, that doesn't mean we don't have February event!
On Wednesday, February 25, we invite you to attend a PDXTech4Good volunteer social at Tin Bucket in North Portland. Come chat with the co-organizers and learn about how you can get involved — whether you have 5 minutes or 5 hours to contribute. If you're new to the area (or to nonprofits), come join us! Additionally, we are always looking for ideas or potential speakers at future PDXTech4Good events — we'd love to hear your thoughts.
Speaking of future events, we've got a bunch on our calendar! Take a look and feel free to RSVP for these now:
- Wednesday, March 11 (one week later than usual): Top Non-Profit Lessons from a For-Profit
- Wednesday, April 1: Mini-Presentations from the 2015 Nonprofit Technology Conference
- Wednesday, May 6: Diversity and nonprofit technology
- Wednesday, June 3: Low-cost, high-impact technology tools
- Wednesday, July 1 (date subject to change): PDXTech4Good Summer Social

- Wednesday, Sep. 2: Digital storytelling and "social media surgery"
- Wednesday, Oct. 7: Security, privacy and safety online for nonprofits and activists

In many cases we're still looking for presenters for these events, so if you or someone you know might be interested, please let us know!
Finally, there are several events in the nonprofit, nonprofit tech, and larger tech community here in Portland we thought you might be interested in:
