and New Event: Summer Networking
As a wrote a few days ago, I've been exploring new platforms to use to keep SFTech4Good going. Earlier l shared Upstream's Coronavirus Helping and Hiring Community. It's focused on providing something of value for people looking for work or hiring.
I hope that you're all staying safe, are taking care of yourselves and your loved ones as you're able, and following the shelter-in-place guidelines in your respective municipalities. It's been a few weeks since the last official newsletter and resource-focused emails went out.
Of course, I'd love to be in the middle of planning the next in-person events. It became clear in late February that the viral threat was growing exponentially and planning for the March event was officially canceled on March 3rd. I always love it when an event comes together with a room full of enthusiastic people who are there to network and learn. Now the health and safety of this community, the Bay Area, our country, and the world take precedence. This is a reminder to us all about how connected we are.
It's the holiday season, which means it's Positive Impact Party (PIP) time! Follow the link or scroll down for the date, details, and to RSVP!
If you want to help SFTech4Good by volunteering, please send a message to email@example.com, and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can. (Remember I volunteer to do this.)
If you want to help SFTech4Good with practical things like food and beverage, support the group here!
This is the link to sign up for the newsletter, andthis is the link to get event info and join the group. Feel free to forward this message if you know anyone who wants to know more, and thank you for being a part of this great community!
