NETSQUARED CAMP KRIBI-CAMEROON

 NetSquared Camp  kribi-Cameroon is set for the 17th of January 2015 on the theme: ‘blending crowd sourcing technologies for local content development’.

The event will bring together social activists, change makers, ICT experts and other stake holders interested in local content development. The objective of the event is to demonstrate various ways in which local content development could be used to foster social development in this part of the world.
The event is designed in three phases:

Prevention Talk is an initiative of I-Vission International to demonstrate the power of Web2.0 in the prevention of socio cultural and political crisis.

From the summit of Kilimanjaro in Kenya, the heart of Yamoussoukro in Côte d'Ivoire, the pyramids of Egypt, the mines of Soweto and the depth of the Niger Delta basin, it is evident that; where there is no open, transparent and participative conversation between citizens, civil society organizations and governments, the risk of an explosion is very high.

Netsquared Regional Event for Cameroon and Nigeria

The Netsquared Regional Conference for Cameroon and Nigeria is a multi stake holder event that will bring together actors from local Netsquared groups, Internet Society, civil society, diplomatic institutions, government and the tech world to articulate on issues related to the social web and nongovernmental diplomacy. Citizens from three neighboring countries including: Cameroon, Nigeria and Central African Republic, in a two day event will seek to resolve the following challenges:

- The difficulties faced in introducing the social web for social development in the sub region
