How do you empower people through mobile sms when they don't have enough money to spend on sms? Give them credits that they must use to sms to each other. Users of this service in the mean time develop a relationship with their donors by texting them every month as a form of paying back their credit. This way, the donors achieve a sense of human connection with their donations while at the same time, users become more enabled and empowered through mcommunication. This project includes a web application accessible by anyone, while users do not need the web application to participate; they simply need to be able to text a number, which communicates with the host server. This project is a master's thesis final project and needs collaborators and funding.
