How we NetSquared

We work with you in three ways:

The NetSquared.org online community

Focused around this web site, the online community is a venue for learning skills, sharing experiences and developing expertise.

Here's just some of what you can do on the site:

  • Register as a NetSquared community members so that you can add your own voice and knowledge to our conversation.
  • Read blogs from leading non-profit technology practitioners, who offer their experience and insights. And weigh in with your comments, questions and ideas (you'll need to register first).
  • Learn new skills at Net2Learn, our network of community-created resource centers. It's jammed with practical tips and links to more information. Every week from now until the end of May, we'll focus on a particular theme – which means you can be up and running with a solid grounding in the social web before summer.
  • Browse our library of more than a hundred case studies, showing how non-profits have successfully applied the social web. Or add your own case study to the collection.
  • Listen to the NetSquared podcast, your weekly roundup of news and ideas from the non-profit social web.
  • Check out interviews with some of the most interesting and informative people in the field provide inspiration and practical advice for wiring your non-profit for success.
  • And most important, share advice, ideas and questions with our community of people from all walks of the non-profit world.

Net Tuesday

Net Tuesday is a monthly real-world gathering of Net2 members and friends.

It's an opportunity to network with others facing the same challenges and issues you do, and discover new opportunities for working together. There are active groups in San Francisco, Houston and Washington DC, and LA is just getting off the ground.

But that's just the beginning – we want Net Tuesday meetups in every community where non-profits are working to advance the social web. Want to start your own? We can help!

Netsquared Conference

The NetSquared Conference, running on May 30 and 31, 2006 in San Jose, CA. We'll bring together non-profits, tech practitioners, innovators, philanthropists and visionaries for two days of intense discussion. Together, we'll share experience and identify the tools and activities that will do the most to expand non-profits' online capabilities.

But you don't have to be in San Jose to take part. We're encouraging Net2 participants everywhere to get together locally, and use online access to the central conference to share their voices, pool their ideas and make Net2 their own.

The conference will be an important step – but the focus remains the ongoing on- and offline community that we're building for the long haul. Come join us!
