Like many Internet activists, I wear many hats:
- A volunteer and board member at the Davis Community Network, where we build local and regional community by providing Internet resources to local non-profits. Somewhere around 100 local organizations use DCN's web site, calendar and list services.
- A member of the board of the Plone Foundation, which is the conservator for the Plone Content Management System, one of the world's largest open-source software projects.
- Chair of the City of Davis Telecommunications Commission.
- And, in my spare time, a partner in a Davis web-development company that specializes in Content Management Systems, particularly for non-profits.
