Welcome to the KnowMore Firefox Extension Team!

A few weeks ago, Asa Dotzler of Firefox wrote a post about our featured project and quest for developer support. The same day, Bernard Dolan made a shout-out to the Strange Famous Records Forum. Over the days that followed, a number of talented developers from all over the world sent emails offering their help & support. Wow!

I would like to welcome Eric Cooper (Pennsylvania), Ondřej Doněk (Prague), and Seth Wagoner (New Zealand) to our team. Eric just finished building and documenting the “TemplateStore Mediawiki Extension” , which will help us connect the data from KnowMore's corporate responsibility profiles into KnowMore's API (which we're also building for the conference). The TemplateStore Mediawiki Extension also represents a flexible means of storing any sort of template data and can be used by other Mediawiki projects (kudos to Eric for giving back to the community!). Ondrej has completed a UI preview and at last update was working on a pre-prepared parser for parsing XML responses and putting the data into the client-side database. Seth is our wild card and is the founder of InterClue – a popular and featured firefox add-on that specializes in icon-injection and mashing up with popular search engines. Seth just finished entering the Android competition and I can't wait to work with him and his team on integrating KnowMore's data into Google's search results.

I'm also happy to welcome Dietrich Ayal to our team. Dietrich works at Mozilla, on Firefox3, and is providing guidance and code review.

Also, Danny Brown of KnowMore.org has been of tremendous support! And I am very excited to also be collaborating with Tom Inhaler, also of KnowMore/SFR, who will be co-representing the project with me at the NetSquared Conference.

We're almost at the 4-week mark – with a lot more work and challenges ahead – but I'm very optimistic and thrilled to be working with this international and committed rock-star team. Check us out at our Google Group and share your support!
