N2Y2 Featured Project, the Genocide Intervention Network, has launched a new web site with some new features:

• • • * The Events Center will show anti-genocide events coming up in your neighborhood.
    • * A more comprehensive set of Darfur resources provides you with articles, interviews, videos and images of the conflict.
    • * An interactive map highlights other areas of concern around the world.
    • * And coming soon - their Speaker's Bureau will allow you to search for speakers according to a wide range of criteria.

      * They've also done a nice job on "The Network" page aggregating all of the ways you can spread the word and join their social networks using Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, LiveJournal, YouTube, Digg, ma.gnolia, del.icio.us and StumbleUpon .

ADDITION: By creating a profile on GI-NET, which I just did, you can connect with other supporters based on your shared heroes and human right group involvement as well as share your favorite website, resource or article relating to the anti-genocide movement through a blog-post-like form. You can post events too.
