Over the last few months I've interviewed 13 of the 21 Featured Projects that came to the NetSquared Conference (N2Y2) for the NetSquared Podcast and have posted transcripts for 8 of the interviews on the Net2 Blog. More transcripts and podcast interviews are on their way!
I asked all of the Projects how you can help them with their work and have posted some of their answers below with their contact information if you want to get involved.
Aspiration's Social Source Commons
Allen Gunn: Oh, very simple. Get an account on Social Source Commons, tell us about the tools that you're using, and let us know how this site could be a better dashboard for your nonprofit software needs.
We are extremely responsive to user feedback. As I said, we run a couple of events a year where we actually engage our users, over the course of a weekend or a three-day weekend, and try to get people to tell us what they like and what they don't like. And so, using the platform, telling us what's missing, and just giving us our marching orders would be extremely appreciated.

Farmer 2 Farmer Learning
Don Jansen: People who would be interested in beta-testing on the technical things, that would be nice, but, the most important thing would be funding. But also, if people work with agricultural projects, (we prefer tropical countries because in western countries farmers have access to all kind of information) for tropical countries, well, we are definitely interested in working together on pilots to see whether this approach indeed also works.
We think it does, but it would be nice to really test it out and to see what should be changed, or has to be changed.

Freecycle
Deron Beal: Well, the best thing they can do is try out using Freecycle.org, giving and purging themselves of the extra things in their shed. It's funny, because we get a lot of people joining Freecycle who think, "Ooh, something for nothing, a free lunch." And then when they give their first item away, they realize the real fun, the real gift is in the giving itself. No one has to tell them it's better to give than to get. It's just more fun, so people do it.
That's the kind of message I take with me, that if we bipeds, if we weren't basically good and giving, Freecycle wouldn't exist. So you can watch all the crappy news that you want, but ultimately don't believe it. Because people do care, and people do give. That's something I just... At the end of the day, each day, I remind myself of the success that the Freecycle Network has experienced.

Global Women's Leadershp Network
Linda Alepin: Well, we are definitely not technical people. And while we have found PulseWire as a platform, we could still use--I don't even know what to exactly call them--but I think technical advisers of all sorts. Whether it be in terms of content moderation or it be in terms of the best use of this kind of platform, I would really welcome that kind of support.
We are always open for financial support, of course. We would be open to technical contributions for the women who are in the other countries. Many of them do not have ready access to computers and technology, so if we had better technology on the other end of this, it would be a great boon to the pilot as well as, ultimately, as we roll this out. And in general, if people really want to volunteer with us and help to grow this Network, we would love to have them.

H.E.L.P.'s International Telemedicine Humanitarian Emergency Mobile Medical Clinic Network
Randy Roberson: We have some really bright minds that are currently helping us to build a badly needed Web 2.0 portal, and we need to find a few more. It's a new site that will have three main hubs: for telemedicine, for public support, and for corporate support, as well as a method by which our books will soon be available to be reviewed online 24/7.
As most of our fundraising is designated for a specific focus, we really struggle to find the funding we need to build the type of Web platform necessary to take on the global needs that we focus on. The hospitals and physicians, literally around the world, are beginning to come to the table, as are various governmental and corporate players.
And we need some more brilliant tech minds who want to help with this project, while at the same time knowing that their philanthropic involvement in this effort would, no doubt, open some other doors for them down the road as well. Likewise, we're looking for some more foundations who have an interest in international humanitarian aid, telemedicine, and efforts to engage the public to better understand and help people in need, both here in the United States and around the globe.

Innovatorz Media
Jesse Patel: We're doing an experiment with using web media to increase donations to organizations. It's a pretty simple and interesting concept that we're trying out. We're looking for beta-testers or alpha-testers, people who run nonprofit organizations or run the communications part of nonprofit organizations, and who are interested in contributing some of their experience and knowledge, and maybe even participating.

Kabissa 2.0
Kim Lowery: I think we're always looking for volunteer people to help. We're a very small organization, so extra manpower and hands and ideas are always welcome, so ideas on how we can make this happen and move it forward would be fantastic. And of course, what every nonprofit is looking for is more funding. And so, as I said, we really need that seed capital to get this network up and going off the ground, and anybody who has any ideas or sources of funds for that would be most welcome.

MAPLight
Dan Newman: If you're interested in a particular research area, like in Congress, you don't have to be an expert on it, you can find a particular bill on our site, and if you find an organization that supports it or opposes it, there's a little button on our site called, "Add an Organization."
You just click that and you can send us a note saying, "I was reading in Bankers Monthly," or whatever magazine you were reading, you can send us a note that you found out that the American Bankers Association supports "X" bill.
Our research team validates it and adds it to our database. It's kinda of like the best of the wiki model. We get community contributions from people who want to help keep our site up to date, but at the same time our research team checks and validates everything to make sure it's accurate.
**They are also looking for a Research Coordinator.
