Computers for youths
Under the Youth empowerment program of Christian Fellowship and Care Foundation, Computers for Youths aims to close the gap in terms of education and opportunities. In areas where 75% of families do not own a personal computer in their homes, we hope that by establishing a computer center for youths in our community and utilizing educational software this would enhance learning and youth interest in computer age.
The service would be provided free to every underserve youth, only the parent's participation and input in their child's academics.
Besides providing an after-school program that focuses on homework assistance and life skill lessons, CHRIFACAF offers mentoring and counselling, Health care services, and volunteer activities in the community.
In order to reach the goals for this program, we need financial assistance to purchase computers and softwares. Our organization chose to use the educational driven approach and Curriculum for reducational enhacements (reading, math, science), LifeSkills improve socila competencies, and Brief Strategic and web development.
